An Introduction to Functional Fitness

The Palos Verdes Library District invites you to join us at 10am, Tuesday, July 15 in the ANNEX for "An Introduction to Functional Fitness." Functional fitness training is a form of exercising that focuses on basic strength and endurance necessary for everyday activities—exercises that can be done by everyone, regardless of their present fitness level.If you are one of the many Americans that do not get enough exercise or are too busy to have a regular fitness program in your life—Functional fitness is the answer.YMCA instructors will demonstrate basic exercises designed to place your body in its natural alignment and help improve muscular strength, endurance, balance, and joint mobility. The Annex is located next to the Peninsula Center Library at 627 Silver Spur Road--Suite 210 in the Village--Rolling Hills Estates.  For more information call 310.377.9584 x601.  Guests attend free; no reservations.
