The Palos Verdes Library District presents its 2nd annual Summer Reading Program for Adults. The goal is to promote reading as an enjoyable and stress-free activity that can also improve academic success for the entire family.

Program participants will be eligible to win biweekly prizes. To participate, adults and minors ages 16 and older can pick up entry forms at the reference desk at each of the PVLD library branches.

Adult Summer Reading Program Rules:

  • Obtain an entry form to record your contact information and the title and author for each book. Describe what you liked or did not like about the book.
  • Read or listen to as many books as you can through noon on August 8.
  • Each form turned into a PVLD library will earn the participant a free entry into the biweekly prize drawing.
  • Participants can submit entries each time a book is completed. Additional entries earn extra chances to win.
  • Previous week’s entries are removed for each drawing.

Dates for drawings: TBA

Winners will be contacted the day of the drawing.
