Storytimes

Storytimes at the Library (February 11, 2025 - April 5, 2025) 

All storytimes start at 10:15 am.

Storytimes last approximately 30 minutes unless otherwise noted below. Recommended ages are noted in each description, but children of all ages may attend any storytime. No registration required.

Peninsula Center Library

Tuesdays - Terrific Tuesday Storytime (February 11, 18, 25, March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1) 

Hosted by librarians and friendly puppets, this storytime includes fun stories, songs, and even dancing! Recommended for kids 2-5 years old and their caregivers. 

Thursdays - Rhyme Time (February 13, 20, 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 3) 

Great for the shorter attention span of babies and toddlers! We start with a librarian leading children, parents and caregivers in songs, rhymes, bounces and book sharing, not to mention a little American Sign Language! After our 15 minute rhyme time, the children and adults can share some cozy reading time together. Recommended for kids 24 months and younger and their caregivers.

Saturdays - Silly Saturday Storytime (February 15, 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, April 5)

Hosted by librarians and friendly puppets, this storytime includes fun stories, songs, and even dancing! Recommended for kids 2-5 years old and their caregivers.

Playtime at the Library at all library branches

Drop by anytime between 10am - 12pm to explore amazing toys, check out some great books and make friends, too! Aimed at children 5 years and younger and their caregivers. Note: There will be no storytimes during this period. No registration required.
