Teresa Harrott shares this old family recipe with us. She says these are a "[G]reat snack especially in the fall & winter."
2 Tablespoons of butter
2 Tablespoons maple syrup
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1 Teaspoon cinnamon
8 oz Pecans
Heat oven at 350'. Line large baking sheet with parchment paper.
Heat first 5 ingredients in a sauce pan. Once dissolved, add pecans and coat.
Spread on baking sheet.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes - must flip & stir pecans during this time to bake evenly. Cool & store in refrigerator.
